We drew inspiration from the elegance and refinement associated with sparkling wine, as well as the natural beauty of Tasmania. The color palette was carefully selected to evoke a sense of luxury and sophistication. The deep blue background symbolizes the depth and richness of the ocean surrounding Tasmania, while the gold accents reflect the premium quality of the wine and the warmth of the region’s climate.
The New Identity
The resulting identity, as showcased in the attached image, features a bold and elegant design. The prominent use of deep blue and gold creates a striking contrast that captures attention and conveys a sense of luxury. The wordmark “Jansz” is rendered in a refined, modern typeface that exudes sophistication, while “Tasmania” is placed beneath it to emphasize the brand’s unique regional identity.At the heart of the design is an intricate emblem, inspired by traditional heraldic symbols, that represents the pride and heritage of Jansz Tasmania. This emblem serves as a modern crest, signifying the brand’s commitment to excellence and its position as a pioneer in the Tasmanian sparkling wine industry.

The goal of the Jansz Tasmania redesign project was to contemporize the brand’s identity while retaining its luxury and exclusivity. We sought to create a design that resonates with a broad audience, from seasoned connoisseurs to those newly exploring the world of sparkling wines. The redesign aimed to encapsulate the essence of Tasmania’s pristine environment and Jansz’s rich heritage in a modern and appealing manner.Design ProcessThe design process began with a deep dive into the brand’s history, values, and the unique characteristics of the Tasmanian region.
